DESCRIPTION
The Maison ROULLET FRANSAC has made this Fine Champagne XO cognac, with a selection of brandies more than 3 and 4 years old, aged in oak casks. For this blend, she chose to work only with eaux-de-vie from the wines of the cognac appellation "Fine Champagne" which only contains eaux-de-vie from the Grande and Little Champagne. In order to be in phase with the cognac legislation according to the National Interprofessional Cognac Bureau (BNIC), a cognac named Fine Champagne must consist of at least 50% of Grande Champagne, and the rest of Petite Champagne exclusively.
ORIGIN
The Maison de Cognac ROULLET FRANSAC enjoys a particular attention to the choice of its brandies since its creation in 1838, in order to always guarantee you quality cognacs. The name "X.O." means Extra Old and is a blend of cognac eaux-de-vie, the youngest of which is at least 6 years old.
Tasting
This "Fine Champagne" XO FRANSAC cognac has a great aromatic power and vivacity on the nose. On the palate, it reveals notes of vine flower, citrus and ginger. You can also identify a hint of minty aromas, bringing a nice freshness with a beautiful roundness. Woody notes and cinnamon come to add to its greedy notes. We recommend that you savor our cognacs in a tulip glass, to appreciate every olfactory notes on the nose.
